Using as a Virtual Camera
To use this application's output as a video source in other programs (like OBS, Zoom, or Discord), you need to use the Pop-out Window feature combined with screen capture.
Step 1: Pop-out the Output
Click the Pop-out Window button. This opens a clean, borderless window containing only the video output. We recommend moving this window to a secondary monitor if you have one.
Step 2: Capture the Window
In your streaming or video conferencing software, add a new "Window Capture" source (the name may vary slightly).
From the list of available windows, select the one titled "Video Mixer Output".
Recommended Setup (OBS Studio)
Click the Pop-out Window button.
In OBS, under "Sources", click the '+' icon and select "Window Capture".
Give it a name (e.g., "Video Mixer").
In the Properties dialog, choose "[chrome.exe]: Video Mixer Output" from the "Window" dropdown.
Click OK. You should now see the mixer's output in your OBS scene.
Optional: If you plan to stream, you can start the "Virtual Camera" in OBS to make this source available to other apps like Zoom or Discord.
