Who we are

MICROWORLD.SPACE ("MICROWORLD", "we", "us") is operated by MICROWORLD, 2103 Renaissance Blvd #108, Miramar, FL 33025. Questions about privacy: INFO@MICROWORLD.SPACE.

What we collect

• Account: when you sign in with Google, Microsoft, GitHub or email, Firebase Authentication (Google) gives us your account ID, email address, display name, profile photo link and sign-in provider. Email passwords are handled by Firebase; we never see them.
• Profile: your name, email, photo link, account creation and last sign-in times, which apps you open and your favorite apps.
• Minutes and usage: your daily free time, purchased time, and the start and stop times of app sessions used to count minutes. We record that an app is in use, not what you create in it.
• Purchases: the minute pack, price, time of purchase and Square order and payment references. Card details are entered on Square's checkout and processed by Square; we do not receive or store your card number.
• Sign-in session: a secure, HTTP-only cookie (__Host-microworld_access) that keeps you signed in to the apps for up to one hour. When you sign out we keep a scrambled (hashed) marker of that session until it expires, so it cannot be reused; it is deleted automatically.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider (Google Cloud) records requests, including IP address, browser type, pages requested and time, for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for 30 days.
• Visit counts: our own server counts daily page views, which pages were visited, which websites linked here and how many people signed in. To count unique visitors without cookies, it combines your IP address and browser type with a random value that changes every day and keeps only a scrambled (hashed) result. The daily value is deleted when the day ends, so these counts cannot be traced back to you. No browser scripts or third parties are involved.
• On your device: app settings, presets and projects may be saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device unless an app says it saves to your account.

Microphone, camera and MIDI

Some apps ask for your microphone, camera or MIDI devices. Audio, video and MIDI are processed in your browser. When you broadcast in VIDEO-MIXER, your stream passes through our relay server to the viewers you share it with; we do not record or store it. You can withdraw access at any time in your browser settings.

Advertising and tracking

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookie we set is the sign-in session cookie described above.

How we use it

• To sign you in, give you access to the apps and count your minutes.
• To process purchases, prevent fraud and handle refunds and chargebacks.
• To keep the service secure, fix problems and understand which apps are used.
• To reply when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not show ads on MICROWORLD.

Who we share it with

• Google (Firebase, Google Cloud): sign-in, database and hosting.
• Square: payments, refunds and disputes.
• Sign-in providers you choose (Google, Microsoft, GitHub).
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect our users and service.

Links on our site to other sites (such as Amazon, Venmo or app guides) are governed by those sites' own policies.

How long we keep it

Account, profile and minute records are kept while your account is open. Purchase records are kept for 7 years, for tax and accounting. When you ask us to delete your account we delete or anonymize the rest within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, including to object or complain to a data protection authority. Deleting your account forfeits any unused purchased minutes; we will warn you first.

Children

MICROWORLD is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and transfers

We use encrypted connections, access controls and server-side checks for minutes and purchases. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the effective date. For significant changes we will notify signed-in users.
